Ion detection

Abstract The two most widely used detection methods for IC are RI (refractive index) and conductometric detection measuring conductivy, which is often the most sensitive of the techniques and is very suitable for ion chromatography. In ion chromatography UV-detection is limited, due to the limited UV-absorbing ions.
