Letter from the Editorial Board
Call to share our know-how.
Dear chromatographer,
We have initiated Chromedia for two reasons: we are convinced that ‘on line’ has the future, and we believe that sharing of trusted, peer reviewed know-how will improve the quality of practicing chromatographers. And now? Chromatographers - especially the young - have embraced the web. However, there is an issue: in the overwhelming number of documents and messages it is hard to find what’s best, or distinguish right from wrong, so we lose precious time and quality. That is exactly why we make Chromedia, a comprehensive reference source for teaching, training and solving our day-to-day problems.
Doing a great job as a chromatographer demands a source you can trust. That fits with our ambition: to make essential information available to the chromatographers’ community.
Chromedia is a blend of content and community, by some called a “Peer reviewed Wiki”:
We find this a modern and sensible model. It seems to work: Chromedia is growing continuously in terms of users and content.
Cooperation means saving time and effort
Let's combine our forces and share. If we all add our own specialism, we gain precious time. Chromedia is now ready to host your know-how, materialized in tutorials, power points, video’s, short courses, tools you use in trainings that you wish to share with your peers through Chromedia. We have a team that will help, edit, add illustrations or animations and peer review before we ‘go’ on line. Please contact us either when you meet us or - even better- send us your ideas right away and propose your topic by mail. Join us in this innovative and exiting initiative. We are looking forward to your response. Mail us your ideas.
