Hans-Gerd Janssen graduated from the Eindhoven University of Technology with a Master degree and Ph.D thesis in fast GC and Supercritical-Fluid Chromatography. He than became head of the GC research group of the Eindhoven University. In 1999 he joined Unilever research to become the head of the chromatography and mass spectrometry skill base. Since 2004 he also is a part-time professor at the University of Amsterdam. Hans-Gerd has a deep interest in the applications and theoretical aspects of all forms of chromatography and mass spectrometry.
