Abstract When a non-routine problem is encountered, we need a new method.
Non-routine problems are problem that have not previously been encountered in the same manner, this means that no ready-made solution is available. At this moment, a process which could potentially lead to the development of a chromatographic method is started. However, before the actual method development can start, a number of questions need to be answered.
We have prepared a checklist in order to support your first steps in developing a new method..
